Date of the Promotion: The USC Credit Union “Holiday $1,000 Cha-Ching Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on October 1, 2025, and ends on December 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (“Sweepstakes Period”). Winners will be contacted via email or phone prior to the next drawing date: 10/10/2025, 10/24/2025, 11/07/2025, 11/21/2025, 12/05/2025, and 12/19/2025.

 Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to members of USC Credit Union (“USCCU”) who establish a new direct deposit into their personal USCCU savings or checking account on or after October 1, 2025. Membership eligibility is required (a membership fee may apply; please call 1-877-670-5860 or visit www.USCcreditunion.org to confirm eligibility). Direct deposits into trust or business accounts are not eligible. Sweepstake participants must be (1) at least 18 years of age at the time of entry; (2) be a member in good standing; and (3) have an active USC Credit Union checking or savings account. Previously selected winners are ineligible for the remainder of the Sweepstakes period. Sweepstake participants must be a legal resident of the 50 United States including the District of Columbia (D.C). Sponsor’s current or former employees, contractors, volunteers, officials, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Eligibility will be verified at the time of  entry and following the winner selection process. By entering this Sweepstakes, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the sponsor which are final with respect to all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. How to Enter:

Automatic Entry with Direct Deposit
To qualify, members must receive direct deposits totaling $500 or more into their USCCU personal account at least one (1) business day before the drawing dates: 10/10/2025, 10/24/2025, 11/07/2025, 11/21/2025, 12/05/2025, and 12/19/2025. A qualifying direct deposit is defined as an electronic deposit of a paycheck, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person-to-person transfers (including Zelle®, Bill Pay, Cash Apps, and ACH transfers between external bank accounts) and micro-deposits do not qualify.

Alternate Means of Entry: To enter without setting up a direct deposit, print your name, address, phone number, and email on a 3”x5” card and mail it to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than December 17, 2025, and received by December 18, 2025. Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method.

Prize & Drawings: One (1) winner will be randomly selected on each drawing date. Each winner will receive $1,000, deposited directly into their USCCU savings account within 15 days after completing the required promotional release. A member may only win once during the promotional period. Accounts must be in good standing at the time of the drawing to be eligible. Throughout the Sweepstakes period, entries that are not selected as winners will remain eligible for future drawings. Winners from prior drwaings are not eligible to win more than one prize during the Sweepstakes period. Unclaimed prizes will become the property of the sponsor and may be used in subsequent Sweepstakes. Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, or transferred by winners.

Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the promotional period. Odds of winning are based upon the number of eligible entries received. For example, if 1000 eligible entries are received during the Sweepstakes period before the deadline for entry, the odds of winning are 1:1000.

If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. The sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of such termination date. The sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The sponsor may prohibit a participant from participating in the Sweepstakes if it determines that said participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other participants.

Limitation of Liability: The sponsor is not responsible for any loss or damage which may occur in connection with the Sweepstakes. The sponsor is not responsible if the Sweepstakes winnings cannot be redeemed by the winner for any reason beyond the sponsor’s control, including but not limited to: (1) act of God (including, but not limited to, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, inclement weather, tidal waves, and floods); (2) war, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), invasion, act of foreign enemies, mobilization or embargo; (3) riot, commotion, strikes, lock outs or disorder; or (4) acts or threats of terrorism. Participant agrees to hold the sponsor harmless from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstakes. The sponsor and each of its officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of participants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded or participation in this Sweepstakes. The sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Sweepstakes. Prize(s) cannot be substituted, converted to cash, assigned, or transferred by winners. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the featured prize(s) become unavailable for any reason. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify participants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations related to the Sweepstakes and redemption of a prize.

Notification & Release: Winners will be notified by email. To claim the prize, winners must complete and sign a promotional release. The first name and first initial of each winner’s last name may be published on the promotional webpage and related signage. By entering this Sweepstakes, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the Sweepstakes.

Tax Information: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and any associated tax liabilities. Taxes due on prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. USC Credit Union will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. USC Credit Union and its Representatives do not provide tax or legal advice. For such advice, please consult a qualified professional. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and any associated tax liabilities. Prizes valued over $600 will receive an IRS 1099-MISC.

Promotion Period: Offer valid for entries received between October 1, 2025, and December 18, 2025.

Opt-Out Process: Entrants who established a new direct deposit into their personal USCCU savings or checking account during the Sweepstakes Period, but would like to opt-out of the Sweepstakes, send an email to marketing@usccreditunion.org with your opt-out request at least 24 hours before the next drawing period. Include “Opt-Out Request” in the subject line and the name and email associated with your account in your email request. You will be opted out of the prize drawing by sending one email request.

Privacy and Publicity Authorization: By entering, participants consent USCCU and each of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, franchisees, advertising or promotional agencies, and partners and such entities’ officers, directors, agents, employees, respective successors and assigns (collectively, “Authorized Parties”), the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to use, publish, broadcast and/or likeness, caricature, and personal information, in its current form or as retouched, digitized, cropped, altered, distorted or modified in any way, in any and all advertising and promotional materials based upon or derived there from, (collectively, “Materials”), in any manner, in any media whatsoever for any and all purposes, including by way of example but without limitation advertising, promoting or publicizing products throughout the universe, in perpetuity, and any and all media now known or hereafter devised (including without limitation on the Internet), in conjunction with this or other advertising or promotions without additional compensation. Publicity Authorization: By accepting the prize, winner(s) consent to the sponsor's perpetual use of their name, image, and/or likeness without further authorization or compensation for advertising, promotion, and other publicity purposes in any and all media, except where prohibited by law. Name of winners will be available on our social media platforms (https://www.facebook.com/USCcreditunion, https://www.tiktok.com/@usccreditunion, and http://www.instagram.com/USCcreditunion and sweepstakes online page at https://info.usccreditunion.org/holiday-1k) after they have accepted their prize.

Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant and the sponsor in connection with the sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to choice of law rules.

Winner Notification: The winner will have two weeks from the date of notification to claim their prize; otherwise, it will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected.
