Emergency Cash Assistance Application
The Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund provides emergency cash assistance to help individuals and families recover from the devastating effects of the wildfires. Emergency cash assistance awards are in the amount of $1,000 per eligible and selected applicant/household. Funds are limited.
Eligible applicants must demonstrate destruction or loss of residence caused by the Eaton or Pacific Palisades wildfires.
Eligibility Requirements
- Destruction or loss of residence directly caused by the Eaton or Pacific Palisades wildfires, California.
- Proof of documentation may be requested.
- Wildfire impacted address will be verified.
- Open to individuals and families.
- Applicants must be 18-years or older.
- Only one application and award per household.
Application Process
- Complete all sections of the application form and submit via the online form.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and assistance will be awarded based on demonstrated need and available funding.
- Cash assistance will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-serve basis as funds allow.
- Funds are limited.
- Applications must be submitted digitally for consideration.*
- The application may reopen based on the availability of funds.
Thank you for your interest in the Emergency Cash Assistance program. This initiative was made possible by 222 donors who generously contributed a total of $330,676. Applications are now closed, and more than 302 individuals and families directly impacted by the wildfires each received $1,000 in cash assistance.
Remaining funds were donated to Los Angeles–based organizations - My TRIBE Rise, Civic Soul, and the Altadena Chamber of Commerce—to further support members of their communities affected by the wildfires. You can view the full impact report here.
